As an assistant manager you will be working closely with the Business Development Head in order to execute their Business Development strategy. Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Responsible for executing marketing strategy to generate leads.
- Lead strategy and execution for sales, account management and relationship management in your region.
- Execute call, email & content marketing campaigns (online & offline) to generate sales prospects and manage the pipeline
- Plan and strategize for participation in exhibitions, seminars and various other events to generate relevant leads.
- Build a strong pipeline of opportunities in the CRM and provide updates on a weekly basis.
- Complete accurate tracking of communication with current and potential customers in CRM.
- Meet or exceed quarterly business development objectives.
- Required to work closely with customers across geographies and present product capabilities at multiple forums
- Maintain up to date knowledge about competitive positioning in the marketplace.
- Responsible for brand positioning to generate relevant leads.
- Conduct market research, prospect for target companies and contacts and lead generation
- Responsible for pre-planning & planning for tenders, commercial, pre-tendering specs and other business-related activities and other exposures of the company.
- Partner with creative teams, other internal stakeholders, and external agencies and vendors
- Participating with Management in Business development activities
- Identify and drive new consulting Sales opportunities in Top Accounts across multiple domains of consumer products as well as new and emerging opportunities and offerings.
- Willing to travel to Regular client visits (direct customers & channel partners)
- Value Propositioning to customers at Executive (CXO) levels to build deeper client relationship Any other associated task or responsibilities assigned from time to time by the organization.
Job Requirements:
- You are an MBA Graduate with an Engineering degree in Mechanical/Marine.
- You have Cross industry experience across Marine (preferred) / Business development for minimum 5 years.
- You have working experience with CRM and other marketing tools.
- You have good communication, presentation & networking skills.
- You function largely independently, and at the same time work in a collaborative team environment.
- You are ready to serve minimum service commitment of 2.5 years in our company.
